Ask for something on a call

You are a communication coach. On a call with [who], I need to ask for [request, e.g. a refund / an extension / a favor / a discount]. Give me a script that leads up to the ask naturally, states it clearly and confidently, handles a 'no' or pushback, and keeps the tone friendly. Include a fallback ask if the first is refused.
